Treat yourself…

Get you girlfriends together and allow Mindful Immersion to host a Women’s Weekend Retreat. The venue is usually Yarramalong Camping and Outdoor Recreation Centre, Charlwood, Queensland.

You will arrive on Saturday morning at 8.30am to find your accommodation (tents) are already set up and ready to go; you bring your own pillow, sleeping bag, mattress. You are welcome to bring your own tent if you prefer.

The retreat is fully catered – delicious vegetarian wholefood and organic where possible, you need not bring food or beverages, but can bring extra water and snacks if you wish.

The campsite has an amenities block, approx 5 mins walk, so remember to bring your toiletries, towels and thongs and a torch.

Women will be guided in meditation, a contemplative bushwalk, creative expression using mandalas, rock painting, poetry, and may like to receive a therapeutic treatment at no extra cost.

Each retreat hosts a complimentary health practitioner – such as Massage Therapist, Kineisologist, Reiki Practitioner, and of course Herbalist Shona Churchill of Hedgewitch Herbs.

After enjoying a campfire cooked meal, the energy of women is harnessed in a drum circle. Drums are provided but you are welcome to bring your own. Drumming is an incredibly strong form of self expression, a creative outlet for stress relief; the larger the circle the greater the connection to the sisterhood.

If you would like a break from technology, daily stressors, or simply an opportunity to reconnect with the Earth in a mindful manner, contact us to book your place. Retreats are generally limited to 12 people, but group bookings can be negotiated.

A minimum of 6 people is required for a retreat.
